Miss Polly: Guillarmé’s Newest Collection!

By  |  0 Comments

Earlier this month, young French designer Christophe Guillarmé, presented his new Fall/winter collection 2014-2015 in the Galerie des Champs Elysées in Paris. Those who are familiar with classics were transported right in the world of “Who are you, Polly Maggoo?” a movie that is said to have greatly inspired the artist. Indeed one master give can give life to many others! The attendees were simply razzle-dazzled by all the glitter and gold, bright colors, ribbons and embroidery.

The least we can say is that the years Guillarmé spent at the “College of Applied Arts Duperé” did not go to waste. Then again after having such influential mentors, such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Dice Kayek and Stella Cadente, one could not expect less than that memorable show.

In 1998, the prodigious 21-year old designer launched his debut collection, the success of which was undeniable! A year later, he started his own brand of luxury dresses which bears an eponymous name celebrated worldwide. The truth is that the feminine and French touch of his collections seduces beyond borders; be it in the US (NYC, L.A, San Francisco or Miami), the Middle- East (Dubai, Abu Dhab or Kuwait), in Europe (Paris, London or Cannes), in Japan (Tokyo or Kobé) and even in Russia, people are love struck when it comes to Christophe Guillarmé .
