Ramadan Kareem (Ich)…. Nazeeka Kaftans!

Ramadan is around the corner. The holy month is not just known for people’s eagerness to perform their tenets, but it’s also a time for gathering with friends and family whether on Iftar (the evening meal when Muslims break their fast) oder Sohoor. Women also tend to dress up modestly yet elegantly during those magical Ramadan nights which are constantly filled with warmth and piety.

Many local designers now are launching their Ramadan collections which are usually composed of Kaftans or Jalabiyas. Nazeeka Bags & More has just launched its “Ahlan Ramadan” ( Hello Ramadan in Arabic). I was impressed with the bright colors and the loose cuts that would accent any woman’s figure in a modest way.
