Favorite Product of the Week: L’Oreal True Match Concealer

Concealers are among those few products that can literally make or break your whole makeup look. As any ordinary girl, I have been always on the look-out for the ideal concealer that would typically cover up any dark spots while leaving a natural glow to my skin without having to look like a Geisha girl. L’Oreal True Match Concealer perfectly suited my needs. I have been using it for more than 3 months and I am planning on buying it once again.

For those of you who are not familiar with the L’Oreal True Match Concealer, it is a liquid concealer that comes in a small plastic bottle with a handy brush that would help you apply the product to your skin. It comes in many shades to match your skin tone. (Personally, I use the Vanilla 2 shade.)

For me, it is a very good choice for girls who need light to medium coverage and who have perfectly smooth skin. I know that most girls are not lucky. Neither do I! But, all I’m saying is this L’Oreal True Match Concealer would highlight any micro-exfoliation you might be suffering from. There were a couple of times when my skin looked quite sandy after I applied the product. That is why, if you have dry skin, you need to moisturize it well either via using a moisturizing cream, a good primer or maybe even both.

Other than that, the L’Oreal True Match Concealer would hide any blemishes you might have, illuminate your skin significantly -just remember to use a concealer that is lighter than your natural skin tone- and give you a nice result.

Remember to top it off with a nice layer of powder, so that you won’t be smudging it away with your hands or fingertips while applying the rest of your products. Moreover, you will need the brush to just apply small dots on the areas that you want to camouflage or highlight, but you will use your finger tips or even any concealer brush later on to dab the product into your skin for natural coverage.

You can find the L’Oreal True Match Concealer in any beauty store across Egypt for 140 LE. (Prices may vary.)
