The Secret to Quick Red Lips!
Red lips seem to be a real hassle that you’d probably think they take a lot of time. With all those Youtube makeup tutorials that show you several hectic steps to get what many bloggers claim to be the “Perfect Look”, I can certainly get why many girls shy away from going through all the heavy routine. Personally, I used to follow some unnecessary instructions fearing that my red lipstick would drip off my lips, or even smudge away leaving awkward stains around my moustache line.
However, I have recently been introduced to the Levres Contour Lip Liner from Bourjois which, unlike other lip liners, provides full coverage while gliding smoothly over the lips. I usually apply one layer of the lip liner then coat it with one or two layers of a matching-color lipstick. But, with the Levres Contour Lip Liner, I only apply it and would be absolutely sure that it would stay on all day long without looking as if I have parched lips, or even fearing that I would have smudgy freaky vampire lips.
Normally, I would start by lining my lips then I fill them in by drawing horizontal short lines which I connect later on using the pencil or by rubbing my lips together. The matte finish is just exquisite. You don’t have to top it with any other lipstick or lip gloss. Only if you want a little bit of dewiniess, you can apply a fine coat of transparent gloss (However, I recommend matte finishes for red lips).
For almost a month, I have been using the 07 Cherry Boom Boom shade on its own. The only product I might use as a complimentary product would be a hint of my favorite concealer with a handy brush just to clean any edges for a refined look.
You can find the Levres Contour Lip Liner from Bourjois at any Mazaya or Debenhams branch across Egypt.
