Salmon is a posh yet tricky ingredient which you can tone up or down depending on your mood and whatever ingredients you may have. Today, we are sharing with you a yummy Salmone Con Spinaci (Salmon with Spinach) recipe which you can easily prepare through our detailed 4 steps.

Part 1: Salmon


  • 200 gms Salmon Fillet with Skin
  • 15 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 gms Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper for seasoning
  • 15 gms Flour

Method of Preparation

  • Marinate the salmon fillet with extra virgin olive oil, thyme & season with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge the fillet in flour on all sides.
  • Heat a non-stick pan and pour some olive oil and simmer.
  • Sear the fish both side until its golden brown in color, crispy & it should be cooked thoroughly. Cook for 7 minutes depend on the size of the fish

Part 2: Spinach


  • 300 gms Spinach
  • 30 gms Butter
  • 5 gms Garlic
  • 10 gms Pine nuts
  • Salt & Pepper for seasoning

Method of Preparation

  • Heat a separate pan.
  • Sauté spinach in butter, garlic and roasted pine nuts.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Part 3: Salsa


  • 5 gms Red Pumpkin Boiled Cubes
  • 7 gms Tomato Concasse
  • 7 gms Cucumber Cubes
  • 5 gms Red Onion Cubes
  • 6 gms Sliced Sundried Tomatoes
  • 1 gms Chopped Parsley
  • 3 gms Chopped Garlic
  • 35 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 7 gms Fennel Cubes
  • Salt & Pepper for Seasoning
  • Juice of half a lemon

Method of Preparation

Add all the vegetable cubes together and add extra virgin olive oil, chopped parsley, parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Part 4: Plating

  • Place the sautéed spinach in the middle of the plate & then place the cooked fish on top of the spinach – skin side on the top.
  • Drizzle some creamy balsamic vinegar on the fillet.
  • Place vegetable salsa on top of the salmon.
  • Garnish with micro herbs.
